Perhaps the most popular tourist attraction in the east of the Sverdlovsk Region is the Revun Rapid. The Iset River in this place is not at all what the townspeople in Yekaterinburg are used to seeing. From a calm river it turns into a turbulent mountain stream surrounded by rocks. The threshold got its name for the noise. When the water is large, the roar of the rapids is heard from afar. It is interesting that the locals had a different name - Burkan. There are almost no rapids on the rivers of the Middle Urals (unlike in the South), so the Revun is all the more unique. In the spring, the difficulty category of the threshold rises from the second to the fifth. It is in the spring that Howler looks the most impressive. It is approximately 300 meters long. Large boulders jut out randomly in the riverbed. The Iset flows here in a beautiful, rocky canyon. Cliffs rise on both sides of the rapids. The tallest and most beautiful ones rise on the left bank. There is also a birch grove in which tourists usually stay.
