Blue Spring is not just a hydrological natural monument of national significance, approved in 1985, it is a revered natural sanctuary. Each path to the spring is shrouded in legends, and each stone holds centuries-old secrets. Its soft murmur merges with the rustling of the leaves of spreading trees, and the emerald surface of the bottomless spring beckons with its purity and mystery.
The spring is located two and a half kilometers from the city of Slavgorod in the Mogilev region, near the former village of Kliny. The diameter of this unique spring is 20-25 meters, and its waters, surrounded by deciduous lindens, are distinguished by their extraordinary transparency and flow strength, making it the largest ascending spring in Eastern Europe.
In 2016, Blue Spring received the status of a state nature conservation institution, which emphasizes its special value as an ecological and cultural site. This is a place where nature and history intertwine, reminding us of the need to preserve such wonders of Belarus.
The Blue Spring has long been revered as a sacred place, where tens of thousands of pilgrims flock every August not only from Belarus, but also from Russia, Ukraine, and the Baltic countries.
