Blue lake in Abkhazia

The lake is dead. In it, simply no one and nothing lives. The pond does not freeze all year round. The lake feeds on the waters of an underground river originating somewhere on the slopes of Mount Atskhina. The water temperature, even on the hottest days, does not exceed 7-9 degrees. There is a legend according to which, after washing in the lake you can get younger. The depth is not exactly known, although some sources call the figure 76 meters. There is a whirlpool in the depths of the lake, so swimming in it is not recommended.
