Virtual Tour: Bridge Tower. The three-tiered tower served as the main entrance to the Izmailovo estate, being part of a stone arched bridge over the Silver Pond. The composition of the tower is typical of medieval architecture of the second half of the XVII century and resembles some of the towers of the Moscow Kremlin. Two square in terms of decreasing quadrangle crowns a wide octagon with a tier of a ring and a low tent. The lower tier of the tower is cut by three wide arched passages. Through, from south to north, facing the Pokrovsky Cathedral; cranked, from south to east, led once to the Izmailovo dam and the mill Serebrikhe.
