HERNÁN SOSA (Lima, Peru, 1965) studied at the Carlos Baca Flor School of Fine Arts in Arequipa. His artistic career began with his exploration of the watercolor technique, which allowed him to win the most important competitions in the field and establish himself as a representative painter of Arequipa watercolor. His work has been based on experimentation, both in technique and subject matter, thus becoming a multidisciplinary artist. With 33 years of uninterrupted work, he has published two books on his work and held 45 solo exhibitions in Peru, Ecuador, Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the United States, and the Netherlands.
