Virtual tour: New 3D tour. Apatity city central library. Initially, the library was located in the village of Molodezhn at the House of Culture. In October 1966, she moved to the premises on one of the first streets of the city under construction (Kosmonavtov Street, 3) and became the City Library No. 1.

On July 10, 1970, by the decision of the executive committee, the library No. 1 was transformed into the Central Library with functions of a methodical center for all libraries of the city.

In 1989, the Central City Hospital moved to a new building on ul. Pushkin, built specifically for the library. (Not a commercial project)
