Seaside Park of New Athos

Seaside Park, located in the center of New Athos, was defeated by the monks who once founded the New Athos monastery. At the beginning of 1880, ponds were dug here, the bottom of which is lined with stone tiles, and the maximum depth is almost two meters. Monks bred here crucians, carp and mullet for the needs of the brethren. Officially, the Novy Afon Seaside Park was opened in the summer of 1910 for the arrival of the royal family.
