Cape Peshchurova in the village of Yuzhno-Morskoy is named after the captain of the Gaydamak clipper ship, who on July 23, 1861 entered Vostok Bay and discovered the bay, which was named Gaydamak. The cape offers a picturesque view of the sea, rocks, islands with seagulls and cormorants. And of course, it is attractive on the cape - Mayak, this is the pearl of the Yuzhno-Morskoy settlement.
