Virtual tour: Angarsk polymer plant. The Angarsk Polymer Plant is the only petrochemical plant in Eastern Siberia, which annually produces 200 thousand tons of ethylene, 100 thousand tons of propylene and 60 thousand tons of benzene. The main part of the ethylene produced is used by the plant for the production of high-density polyethylene, styrene and polystyrene. Raw materials for the plant are straight-run gasoline and hydrocarbon gases, mainly produced by the Angarsk petrochemical company.
