Throughout the long history of the Town Hall Pharmacy, the position of pharmacist in it has been occupied by many worthy personalities. A special place among them is occupied by the Burkhart dynasty. From 1582 to 1911, the pharmacy was owned by ten generations of the Burchart family. According to family tradition, the eldest son always bore the name Johann and studied to be a pharmacist.
