Lake Akchan is one of the lakes of the Multinsky node of the Katunsky ridge. From Lake Akchan, tourist routes go through the Kuiguk pass to Lake Kuiguk and the Kuiguk waterfall, to the Multinsky lakes and Lake Poperechnoye. Through the Surovy pass from Lake Akchan, you can reach Lake Alla-Askyr, Darashkol, and Lake Kucherlinskoye.
