Try new hotspots or tunnels between panoramas in a virtual 3D tour.

What's new:

  1. two panoramas have one transition to each other, then the transitions are more natural - an illusion of movement or movement is created.
  2. Added the ability to select a transition point icon from several options.
  3. Added the ability to set the icon size for the transition point from 50% to 150%.

How to add hotspots or tunnels to a virtual tour?

  1. Switch to virtual tour editing mode
  2. Drag the panorama from the bottom panel to the open panorama as shown in the screenshot

    step 1, 2

  3. Set the hotspot point location
  4. Adjust the rotation angle, size, and type of transition point icon
  5. Exit tour editing mode

    step 3-5

The ability to manually set where the eye should be directed after the transition will be added in the next version of the site.

    Good afternoon!
Is it possible to manually set where the gaze should be directed after the transition? Because the look depends exactly on where the person is coming from, so there must be a setting for this moment, which I do not observe.
This is an important point for virtual tours. He, just the same, so far stops from acquiring a subscription. You want to be sure of the full functionality of the service if you pay for it. Thanks in advance for your reply!

Thank you very much for the question with the video explanation.

Your question is understood. Now where the "look" is directed after the transition to the panorama depends on whether there is a reverse transition and where it is directed. In short, the gaze after the transition is directed in the opposite direction from the reverse transition. In your example from the video, try to arrange all the transition points in such a way that between every two panoramas between which there are transitions there is a transition back and forth. After placing all the transitions, update the virtual tour, and then check how the transitions work.

In any case, I agree that this functionality should be more obvious and understandable. In addition, it should be possible to manually set where the gaze should be directed after the transition. Work on updating/fixing this functionality is scheduled for February. Update information will be available in this article.

Thanks again for your question and for the video!

I would like to set the transition points both forward and backward so that when you click on the transition point to the next panorama, the next transition point appears in front of your eyes approximately in the center. This forces the person watching the 3D tour to go ahead on the tour. and if it is somehow different, then on the contrary it will disorientate in the panorama of the tour.

There are some difficulties in creating the transition. when I set the transition points both forward on the 3D Tour and back. then during the transition, I want the points of the next panorama to be in the center, but basically for some reason, when I click on the point of the next panorama, the point is not in the center, but the panorama flies off and is not saved as I set it up. How to solve it?

Good day. To delete the transition point, you need to: 1) Go to the virtual tour editing mode, 2) Click on the transition point - the properties of the transition point should open in the panel on the right, 3) Click the delete button in the panel that opens and then confirm the deletion in the dialog that opens.
