The highest point of the Karatash ridge: Mount Ufa or Karatash, 919 m high. Translated from Bashkir, Karatash means "black stone". Along the entire watershed, small rocks rise among the trees. The top of the ridge is a high rocky ridge up to 50 meters high. Usually tourists rarely get there, in contrast to "Shurale's teeth", which is always full of people. It is not surprising that wild animals are often encountered further, including the "king of the Ural taiga" bear.

The mountain or, as they often write, Ufa Peak is the highest point of the Karatash ridge. The height of the mountain is 919.9 meters. More recently, it bore the same name as the entire ridge - Karatash, but, by the forces of an initiative group of tourists from Ufa, it was decided to call the mountain Ufa, the corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Putin in 2009.

The summit of the ridge itself is a ridge-like rocky outcrop, stretching from north to south, with steep walls up to 50 m high on the east side and rocky ledges on the west. A beautiful panorama of the surrounding ridges opens up from here, Big Yamantau Mountain is visible in the distance, and right at the foot of the mountain itself you can see the village of Aigir.
