How do you ode your virtual tours and spherical panoramas to your customers? This question was raised by the photographer with the nickname Alligator in one of his comments.
For most of my clients, I simply sent a link to a virtual tour or panoramas on this site in addition to JPG files of individual panoramas. But it would be interesting to know the opinion of professionals, how do you give virtual tours to your customers? Thanks in advance.
To send a virtual tour or a spherical panorama to your client, you need to use press the menu button (vertical ellipsis) in the virtual tour mode and select the "Share" item. In the dialog that opens, copy the link to send to the client or the code to embed on your site.
I don’t really .... Maybe it’s convenient for photographers, but not for designers ... Customers will not want to fool around with all these logins and passwords ...
Yes, a mechanism is needed. Previously, I made a certain account for the customer and after that I just gave him the username and password, and he got the opportunity to steer the tour. Passing by button - that would be great
Now I was talking with one photographer who faced a similar question. And how about this option: The photographer creates a virtual tour, the client looks, everything suits him, and the photographer transfers the virtual tour to the client’s account with the click of a button. If the client does not have an account on TrueVirtualTours, then the account is created by email. The client receives a virtual tour, and the photographer receives a bonus for transferring the tour to the client. How do you like this idea?
And here I’m just faced with the fact that html does not open again this year, but swf runs smoothly on any computer and in any browser /, plus the Internet is not required for viewing, it is extremely convenient on the object! Yes, they cannot be humanly uploaded to the site - this is a minus. Therefore, I ship here, and then to the site. But improvements are still needed, because the site then opens crookedly, especially from the phone.
And about the jpeg format - only a photographer can give this. But the architect or designer is not suitable. Plus I load panoramas in VR glasses and here swf calmly shows them through the computer without additional software!
Belovusova Julia, I would not recommend giving tours in swf format, for several reasons, one of which was indicated by Roman Grinev, that such tours require additional permissions for browsers, and the second and main problem is that such tours are not played on mobile devices. Much better to give in html5 format. If you make tours to some of the Pano2Vr, Color Panotour, Krpano, etc. programs, then they also have the opportunity to create tours in html5 format.
Therefore, although I may be mistaken, it’s good to give the client panoramas in JPG, and to provide the tour on services such as this one. In any case, we are working to make TrueVirtualTours a more convenient platform for doing this. Smart-360, we’ll definitely add features for placing tours in the form of hot spots - this is a great idea. If the site does not have any opportunity to more conveniently give virtual tours to your customers, please write in the section "Questions and Suggestions" here: https://truevirtualtours.com/en/article/faq-trvi-tours. thanks
Swf is an Adobe Flash format. Adobe announced that Adobe® announced that it would no longer support Flash® Player® in December 2020 (https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7084871?hl=en). In addition, in recent versions of Flash browsers, the plugin is disabled by default. Therefore, if a client decides to host a SWF tour on his site, then for all visitors who do not have this plugin to view it will have to install it and enable it, which creates additional difficulties for viewing.
Julia, are you unloading from here in this format?
Smart-360 thanks for the comments)) You can read about transitions between panoramas here: https://truevirtualtours.com/en/article/hotspots-or-tunnels-between-panoramas-in-the-360-degree-tour
Although now I looked, and saw that some have transitions on the tour. I myself did not understand how they are made ((
To be honest, I have not yet sent my clients the tours posted on this site. Most of the clients are placed on Yandex maps, and if someone needs an additional tour for the site, then I do it in a pan tour or on a tour, or I post tours on the roundme site. I would like you to have minimal "goodies" on your site for placing tours in the form of hotspots (transitions) and text hotspots. Then I’m personally ready to switch to a paid tariff like roundme, especially since they have had problems with the site for the past six months and their site is not available from time to time. I know many panoramasters who are actively looking for a replacement for roundmi, but there is none yet, your site is the closest in design and functionality to them.
I give it to customers in swf
Try new hotspots or tunnels between panoramas in a virtual 3D tour.
A list of links to information on the cost of placing panoramas and virtual tours.
The order is as follows: 1) upload to the site spherical panoramas from which you plan to create a virtual tour; 2) from the list of uploaded panoramas add each panorama to the virtual tour (Add to 3D tour link); 3) open the created virtual tour, edit the panorama order, select the main panorama, set transition points (tunnels).
Some users to whom I sent links to view panoramic photos could not at first figure out how to properly rotate the panorama around me, or at first did not realize that the wheel could zoom in or out the scene. For such cases, the True Virtual Tours website has a Video Editor feature. In case of its application, before the user who opened the panorama by the link, the script of the "flyby" invented by you immediately starts. That is, the camera rotates or focuses as you yourself previously configured. Thus, you helped our customer to quickly examine the space around "himself" in a panoramic picture and at the same time encouraged him to think that he could perform the same actions with the help of the mouse buttons or the wheel.
